Hund i Fokus = The Dog in Focus
Hund i Fokus is a small dogtraining school in Darbu in Øvre Eiker, Norway.
In addition to behavioral consulting and private lessons we have a wide range of classes: Puppy classes, tracking, searching, freestyle, problem-dog classes, leash walking classes, chanterelle searching and others.
We focus on positive reinforcement in all our work with the dogs, mainly clickertraining.
We mainly conduct classes in Darbu, but also by request in other places in Norway. Tracking, searching and chanterelle searching classes are held in Oslo as well as in Darbu.
The owner of Hund i Fokus, Nina, is a contributor to the magazines “Hundesport” (the Norwegian Kennel Club’s magazine) and “Ditt Dyr” (“Your Animal”), and during 2006-2008 had a weekly column in the local newspaper “Bydgeposten”.
Nina Haaland is also the chief instructor, with canine related educations from Norway and Sweden. In addition, there are two assistant instructors, Mona Andersen and Marita Bjørnstrøm-Waal.
We also have a growing amount of figurants and figurant dogs that join us when needed, especially when working with reactive dogs.
